Robert Half Data Entry Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Description We are looking to hire a meticulous Data Entry Specialist to aid our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role will involve handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced setting. This role provides an opportunity to transition from a temporary position to a permanent one.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the data entry process, ensuring the accurate and efficient entering of customer orders
• Handle customer inquiries and provide them with necessary assistance
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of orders in the system
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools and Quickbooks to manage customer data and perform calculations
• Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring all customer records are up-to-date and easily accessible
• Assist in processing invoices and managing email correspondence
• Liaise with a small team of professionals to ensure smooth operations
• Take up additional training in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable as required
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work independently and ask questions when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in data entry and related software tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Exceptional typing speed with high level of accuracy
• Strong 10 Key Skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
• Experience with email correspondence and professional communication
• Organizing files and maintaining a structured filing system
• Proficiency in scanning documents and digitizing data
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• High level of attention to detail
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Willingness to learn new software and stay updated with modern data entry trends.
