Robert Half Financial Analyst in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our team located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is focused on analyzing past financial performance to predict future performance, aiming to advise on financial strategy. Responsibilities
• Analyze past financial performance to predict future performance and advise on financial strategy.
• Perform value-add cost and profitability analyses to provide business insights.
• Develop financial models and participate in cross-functional project teams to support strategic initiatives.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis, rate versus mix, or correlation analysis to inform decision making.
• Support the month-end financial close process, including preparing estimates, recording journal entries, and preparing month-end reporting.
• Prepare financial planning activities, including budgets and forecasts, to ensure financial health of the organization.
• Administer department database maintenance and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information, exercising judgment and discretion in any disclosure of information.
• Participate in the annual financial audit process and provide relevant information to external auditors.
• Handle multiple priorities at the same time, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Experience with Month-end Close Activities
• Knowledge of General Ledger
• Expertise in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Ability to perform Variance Analysis
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new financial concepts and tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA are advantageous.
