Description

Robert Half is looking for an HR Director for a Milwaukee area company.

Job Description:

The HR Director will spearhead the creation and execution of all talent-related strategies, from talent acquisition, performance management, to employee relations and regulatory compliance. This individual will work closely with the executive leadership team and will be fundamental in driving the company's vision and overall strategy.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement an overall HR strategy, in alignment with the company’s strategic direction.

  2. Lead talent acquisition process; oversee recruitment initiatives and strategies to identify, attract, and hire high-quality talent.

  3. Design and supervise a comprehensive performance management system, setting clear performance expectations, monitoring performance progress, and managing the appraisal process.

  4. Develop compensation and benefit plans that are competitive, fiscally sustainable, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

  5. Foster a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable voicing concerns, proposing new ideas, and asking questions.

  6. Manage complex employee relations, including conflict resolution situations.

  7. Direct and ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

  8. Oversee data analysis and reporting concerning HR metrics to identify trends and monitor the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

  9. Provide guidance on professional development, training, and coaching.

  10. Partner with other department leaders to understand and carry out the organization’s HR needs.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (such as PHR, SPHR) will be preferred.

  2. A minimum of [e.g. 10] years of progressive HR experience, with at least [e.g. 5] in a managerial position.

  3. In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

  4. Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing a team.

  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  6. Able to create and manage budgets.

  7. Proficient in HRIS and office software.
