Robert Half is partnering with a global multi-site manufacturing organization in the recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities within the Human Resources department, but heavily focused on benefits administration, employee relations, diversity and inclusion training, and compliance. The plant manager is responsible for recruiting, while you will assist with onboarding.

This is a permanent placement opportunity offering hybrid schedule, full benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures

• Administer and manage employee benefits

• Assist managers in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans

• Coordinate and conduct training sessions on various HR topics, such as diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and performance management

• Support HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement surveys and HRIS implementation

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related issues and initiatives

• Support managers with onboarding new hires

• Update and maintain HR practices documentation, including the employee handbook.

Requirements

• Demonstrated 3+ years experience in a Human Resources Generalist role

• Proficiency in handling Benefit Functions

• Solid understanding and experience with HR compliance matters

• Proven ability to manage and resolve Employee Relations issues

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
