Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role is highly administrative and will support a team of attorneys in a variety of tasks including document management, calendar responsibilities, drafting legal documents, and transcribing dictation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys

• Utilize iManage for efficient document management

• Handle calendar responsibilities using Outlook

• Draft legal documents as required

• Schedule Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs)

• Order medical records as necessary

• Manage filing systems for efficient record keeping

• Transcribe dictation from attorneys as needed

• Use Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Management System, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites

• Handle complaints and perform billing functions

• Familiarize with Workers Comp Law and Workers Compensation Requirements • Proficiency in Case Management Software

• Knowledge of LexisNexis

• Familiarity with Management Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Ability to handle Billing Functions

• Experience in Briefing

• Ability to manage Calendar effectively

• Experience in Complaint Handling

• Ability to handle Documentation tasks efficiently

• Knowledge of Workers Comp Law

• Familiarity with Workers Compensation laws and procedures
