Description We are offering a position in the healthcare industry for a Medical Data Entry Clerk based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves managing data related to the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), EHR SYSTEM, IBM AS/400, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, and more within a structured workplace environment. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate entry of medical data into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) and EHR SYSTEM
• Utilize IBM AS/400 and McKesson systems proficiently to manage and update records
• Perform data entry tasks related to billing functions and claim administration
• Deliver high-quality customer service by resolving inquiries and issues related to data entry
• Maintain accurate documentation of all data entry tasks and processes
• Use Microsoft Excel to create and update spreadsheets related to medical data
• Ensure all data entry tasks adhere to compliance standards and regulations
• Regularly monitor and update customer records for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with team members to improve data entry processes and strategies
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to medical data entry. Requirements • Proficiency in using Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)
• Experience with EHR SYSTEM
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400
• Knowledge of McKesson software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to perform Billing Functions
• Experience in Claim Administration
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Proven Data Entry skills
• Strong Documentation abilities
