Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Data Entry Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role operates within the healthcare industry and primarily involves maintaining and updating patient records using various database systems. The workplace is highly dynamic and fast-paced, requiring individuals who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately entering patient data into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) system
• Regularly updating and maintaining patient records within the EHR SYSTEM
• Utilizing the IBM AS/400 system for data management and retrieval
• Leveraging McKesson for efficient administration of billing functions
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation
• Administering claims and resolving any related issues
• Providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Performing data entry tasks quickly and accurately
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Assisting with other administrative tasks as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)
• Experience with EHR SYSTEM
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400
• Knowledge and experience in McKesson
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Able to perform Billing Functions
• Experience in Claim Administration
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Ability to perform Documentation tasks
• Medical industry experience is preferred
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
