Description We are offering a short-term contract opportunity for a Medical Data Entry Clerk based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves working within the healthcare industry, where you will be responsible for data entry and documentation related to healthcare records and billing. You will be using various software and systems, such as the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), EHR SYSTEM, and IBM AS/400, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter data into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) and EHR SYSTEM as per the provided information.

• Utilize IBM AS/400, McKesson, and Microsoft Excel for data processing and management of records.

• Handle billing functions, including the preparation and submission of invoices.

• Administer claims, ensuring they are properly filed and processed.

• Deliver high-quality customer service, addressing and resolving any issues or queries related to data entry or billing.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all data entry tasks, billing activities, and customer interactions.

• Monitor and update healthcare records to ensure they are accurate and complete.

• Adhere to all data privacy and confidentiality policies and regulations in the handling of healthcare records and patient data. Requirements • Proficiency in using Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)

• Experience with EHR SYSTEM is required

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 system is a must

• Proficient in using McKesson software for data entry

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Experience in billing functions and claim administration in a medical setting

• Exceptional customer service skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers

• Accurate data entry skills to ensure correct patient records

• Excellent documentation skills to maintain patient records and data.
