Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will be joining a team in the healthcare industry, responsible for managing and organizing patient records. This role will require proficiency in various medical software and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately maintaining and updating patient records in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Utilizing software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH to manage patient information.
• Creating charts and graphs to represent patient data and health trends.
• Assisting in clinical trial operations by ensuring all required patient data is accurately recorded and accessible.
• Ensuring confidentiality of patient records and information at all times.
• Performing data entry tasks to update patient records as needed.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to organize and manage data.
• Adhering to compliance standards in all aspects of the role.
• Resolving any patient record discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. Requirements • Proficiency in using medical software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel, including the creation of charts and graphs
• Familiarity with Clinical Trial Operations and understanding of its application in a medical setting
• Strong knowledge of and commitment to compliance protocols in a healthcare setting
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information
• Proven data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Prior experience in a similar role as a Medical Records Clerk is preferred.
