Description We are offering a position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a Medical Records Clerk. This role involves handling and maintaining medical records within a healthcare setting. As a Medical Records Clerk, you will be working with various healthcare systems and technologies, contributing to the smooth operation of clinical trials and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain patient records through systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH.

• Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to create charts and graphs that present patient data.

• Participate in Clinical Trial Operations, ensuring all data and records are accurately maintained.

• Uphold highest levels of confidentiality when handling patient records and sensitive information.

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all patient information is accurately recorded and updated.

• Comply with all industry regulations and standards related to medical records and patient data.

• Respond to requests for medical records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of clinical trials.

• Use healthcare technologies and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency in maintaining and accessing medical records.

• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to patient medical records. Requirements • Candidate must possess proficiency in medical software including Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory for data management and creating charts and graphs

• Experience in Clinical Trial Operations is desired

• The role requires strict adherence to compliance protocols and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive patient information

• Strong data entry skills are essential for maintaining accurate patient records

• Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical procedures is necessary

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required for managing and updating patient records

• Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with healthcare professionals and patients

• A basic understanding of medical coding and billing procedures is beneficial.
