Description
We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Network Engineer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves working with various network systems, including but not limited to Nutanix Storage, Hyper-converged technologies, Azure, and Cisco routers. Your responsibilities will revolve around the design, implementation, and maintenance of these systems, ensuring optimal operation and security.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement network configurations, network architecture (including hardware and software technology, site locations, and integration of technologies), and systems.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues for both hardware and software.
• Utilize skills such as Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Microsoft Azure, Palo Alto Firewall, Meraki to manage and maintain the network systems.
• Work with Cisco Core switches and Meraki Edge Switch to ensure network efficiency.
• Maintain and manage Meraki Wireless WAP for optimal wireless connectivity.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Keep up-to-date with current network technology trends and suggest ways to improve the networking systems.
• Work on Hyper-converged technologies to provide integrated computing, networking, and storage solutions.
• Use Nutanix Storage to manage and maintain data storage in the organization.
• Develop and maintain Azure cloud-based solutions for the organization.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in the field
• Proficiency in handling Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies
• Solid understanding of computer hardware and its troubleshooting
• Experience with Configuration Management
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its applications
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewall and its security protocols
• Knowledge and experience in handling Meraki technologies
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other IT professionals
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex network issues
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical details in an understandable manner
