Robert Half Operations Financial Analyst in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description

We are in search of an Operations Financial Analyst to become an integral member of our team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role will primarily involve serving as an intermediary between manufacturing and finance, focusing on our cost accounting and inventory management systems. The successful candidate will have a substantial understanding of manufacturing processes, a meticulous attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Management of inventory materials, encompassing the development of new items, ongoing maintenance, and standard cost reviews.

• Investigation and monitoring of production variances on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

• Execution of inventory reconciliation and oversight of cycle counts.

• Undertaking analyses to delve into operational issues, whether they are ongoing or one-off situations.

• Completion of month-end close activities, particularly those related to the documentation and reporting of production costs, variances, and inventory.

• Collaboration with plant operations and supply chain departments to probe into issues and enhance cost and inventory processes.

• Involvement in new product launches, including the development of new inventory items and corresponding standard costs.

• Provision of support for general accounting duties as needed.

• Contribution to the annual budget, specifically in the development of standard cost.

• Utilization of accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning tools to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

  • Associate or BA/BS in Accounting or Finance(or equivalent experience)

  • At least 1+ years of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of cost accounting procedures, and manufacturing methods.

  • Ability to interact in a professional team-oriented manner with all departments to pursue company goals of enhancing profits, productivity, and efficiency

  • Must be proficient in PC and information skills, particularly in Excel.

  • Experience working in an advanced ERP system.

  • Must be detail-oriented and organized.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
