Robert Half Patient Service Representative in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role is within the healthcare industry and will be based in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace. As a Patient Access Specialist, you'll be responsible for handling patient service operations, managing electronic health records, and ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately input patient information into CRM and EHR systems to facilitate seamless healthcare processes.

• Organize and manage digital and physical patient records to ensure easy accessibility and confidentiality.

• Collaborate with team members to verify and validate data entries, ensuring completeness and consistency in records.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel, for data management and analysis.

• Uphold strict confidentiality and security protocols while handling sensitive patient information.

• Run patient records in the system and match appropriate records to the respective patient.

• Handle patient-related claim administration and complaint handling to ensure patient satisfaction.

• Perform billing functions and cash activity management accurately.

• Utilize McKesson and other necessary software tools to streamline data entry tasks and enhance productivity.

• Adhere to all necessary benefit functions related to patient care and access. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM tools and EHR SYSTEM

• Experience in using McKesson software

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding of Benefit Functions in a healthcare setting

• Knowledge of Billing Functions in a healthcare setting

• Experience in handling Cash Activity

• Familiarity with Claim Administration procedures

• Proven skills in Complaint Handling in a customer service setting

• Ability to work in a team and build relationships with coworkers and patients

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality

• Understanding of healthcare industry standards and regulations

• Excellent customer service skills and patient focus.
