Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You will be joining a team in the healthcare industry where your primary responsibilities will involve data entry, record maintenance, and collaboration with team members. This role is essential for ensuring precise and efficient data entries and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently input paper-based data into computer systems
• Organize and maintain physical records to facilitate seamless digitization processes
• Collaborate with team members to verify and validate data entries for completeness and consistency
• Utilize CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites to streamline data entry tasks and enhance productivity
• Uphold confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive information during the digitization process
• Run records and match appropriate records to the patient in the system
• Handle benefit functions, billing functions, cash activity, claim administration, and complaint handling effectively and professionally. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in CRM and EHR SYSTEM
• Familiarity with McKesson and Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel
• Ability to perform benefit and billing functions
• Capable of managing cash activity and claim administration
• Proven experience in complaint handling
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• A strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures or processes
• Willingness to participate in continuous learning and training opportunities.
