Robert Half Patient Service Representative in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves handling patient services in a healthcare setting, utilizing various software tools and techniques for efficient data management. You will be working in a team, ensuring the seamless digitization of paper-based data and maintaining the utmost confidentiality and security protocols while handling sensitive patient information.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input paper-based data into computer systems.

• Organize and maintain physical records to facilitate seamless digitization processes.

• Collaborate with team members to verify and validate data entries for completeness and consistency.

• Utilize software tools such as CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites and techniques to streamline data entry tasks and enhance productivity.

• Uphold confidentiality and security protocols while handling sensitive patient information during the digitization process.

• Execute patient-related billing functions, claim administration and complaint handling efficiently.

• Run records and match appropriate records to the patient in the system.

• Contribute to cash activity management and benefit functions to ensure smooth operations.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate benefit and billing functions.

• Handle patient service representation duties with utmost professionalism and efficiency. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems, particularly McKesson

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites

• Knowledge of benefit functions within a healthcare setting

• Familiarity with billing functions in a medical context

• Experience handling cash activity in a healthcare setting

• Experience in claim administration within a healthcare setting

• Proven ability to handle complaints effectively and professionally

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data privacy regulations

• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team setting.
