Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves efficient data entry, organization and maintenance of physical records, and collaboration with team members for data verification. The position also requires the use of software tools to streamline tasks and uphold confidentiality and security protocols.
Responsibilities:
• Input paper-based data into computer systems with precision and accuracy
• Organize and maintain physical records to ensure seamless digitization processes
• Collaborate with team members to verify and validate data entries for completeness and consistency
• Utilize CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites to streamline data entry tasks and enhance productivity
• Uphold confidentiality and security protocols while handling sensitive information during the digitization process
• Run records and match appropriate records to the patient in the system
• Handle benefit functions, billing functions, cash activity, claim administration, and complaint handling. Requirements • Proficient in the use of CRM and EHR systems.
• Capable of operating Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites effectively.
• Familiarity with McKesson software is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of Benefit Functions and Billing Functions.
• Experience in handling Cash Activity and Claim Administration.
• Excellent skills in handling customer complaints and providing effective solutions.
