Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is primarily involved in the healthcare industry, with a focus on managing patient data and ensuring efficient access to healthcare services. The workplace is a dynamic and collaborative environment where the utilization of various software tools and data management techniques are essential.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate and efficient data input from paper-based sources into computer systems.
• Organization and maintenance of physical records to ensure seamless digitization processes.
• Collaboration with team members to verify and validate data entries for completeness and consistency.
• Utilization of software tools and techniques to streamline data entry tasks and enhance productivity.
• Upholding confidentiality and security protocols while handling sensitive information during the digitization process.
• Running records and matching appropriate records to the patient in the system.
• Efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintenance of accurate customer credit records.
• Monitoring of customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.
• Proficiency in CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, Cash Activity, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
• Experience with EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems
• Familiarity with McKesson health care IT systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites
• Understanding of Benefit Functions within a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of Billing Functions in the medical industry
• Ability to handle Cash Activity within a financial context
• Experience in Claim Administration within a healthcare context
• Proven skills in Complaint Handling and resolution
