Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The selected applicant will be involved in the healthcare industry, focusing on the efficient digitization of paper-based data into computer systems, maintaining physical records, and collaborating with team members to ensure data accuracy. This role requires a solid understanding of various software tools and techniques to streamline data entry tasks and enhance productivity, while upholding strict confidentiality and security protocols.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently digitize paper-based data into computer systems with precision and accuracy.
• Organize and maintain physical records to support seamless digitization processes.
• Collaborate with team members to verify and validate data entries for completeness and consistency.
• Utilize CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites to streamline data entry tasks and enhance productivity.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and security protocols while handling sensitive patient information.
• Execute billing functions and claim administration efficiently.
• Handle complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Run records and match appropriate records to the patient in the system.
• Perform cash activity effectively and accurately.
