Description

We are searching for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves transforming legacy programming into advanced technologies, creating client applications, and enhancing our web applications. The Software Developer will also be responsible for optimizing user interaction and experience through UI/UX design elements. This opportunity is a contract to hire employment.

This role in NOT remote. If you do not wish for a hybrid role that is 80/20 in office this is perfect, and trust me- with the team you would join you will wants to be there!

Responsibilities:

• Transform and upgrade legacy programming (VBA or VB6) into .NET and C# technologies.

• Develop and maintain web applications.

• Work directly with clients to refine and develop highly functional client applications- Client Facing

• Utilize JavaScript and related frameworks for front-end web development.

• Implement UI/UX design strategies to improve user interaction and experience.

• Debug and resolve application issues while ensuring optimal performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.

• Maintain and support existing applications.

• Use JavaScript, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), VB6, .NET, and C# for software development.

• Apply user experience and user interface software in developing applications.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a software development role.

• Proficient in JavaScript, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), VB6, .NET, and C#.

• Demonstrated experience with user experience software and user interface software.

• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others to solve complex problems.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Continually update skills and knowledge in the latest industry trends and developments.

• Experience in full software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
