Robert Half Systems Administrator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role will be fundamental in managing and maintaining our company's servers, networks, and digital systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for tackling system-related issues, conducting system evaluations, and collaborating with various teams to understand and meet system requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Design, configure, and manage the company's servers, networks, and digital systems
• Address all system-related issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime
• Conduct comprehensive system evaluations and suggest improvements
• Lead efforts for system implementations and upgrades
• Collaborate with different teams to understand and fulfill system requirements
• Maintain updated records of system functionality and progress reports of projects
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices
• Utilize skills in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Database, AB Testing, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Microsoft Azure, Nutanix, Veeam Backup, TCP/IP, DHCP - DNS, VMware, Hyper-V Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco and Citrix Technologies is required.
• Advanced knowledge of Database and AB Testing is essential.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Backup Technologies is expected.
• Must have experience with Computer Hardware and Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Nutanix and Veeam Backup is essential.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and DHCP - DNS is required.
