Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Engineer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves maintaining robust cyber security measures for our clients, experimenting with cutting-edge tools, vendors, and automation, and maintaining client communication. You will be responsible for task assignment, hardening and updating cyber security standards of our clients, and working with advanced tools and technologies.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintain and enhance cyber security measures for our top-tier clients
• Task assignment and hardening to keep client security robust and up-to-date
• Research and development responsibilities, including experimenting with cutting-edge tools, vendors, and automation
• Maintain regular and clear communication with clients
• Utilize expertise in VMWare, Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure Cloud for end-to-end server-related tasks
• Collaborate with a supportive team to carry out responsibilities and tasks
• Leverage technology for our clients' advantage
• Develop and implement advanced cyber security standards for organizations of varying sizes
• Maintain a detail-oriented but non-aggressive approach towards work.
Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role • Demonstrated proficiency in VMware, with certification being a strong advantage • Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and project coordination • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems • Expert Level Experience with Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, & Azure Cloud. Powershell • Knowledge of system backups, recovery, and scripting • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the job is located • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments • Strong commitment to detail oriented and service excellence.
