Description

We are searching for a meticulous and analytical Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in MILWAUKIE, Oregon. In this role, you will be offering key support to our Finance Manager, working on data mining techniques, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, budget processes, and general finance tasks. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Finance Manager with financial planning, analysis, and projections.

• Utilize data mining techniques to analyze financial data and forecast financial trends.

• Implement and manage the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to streamline and integrate financial operations.

• Play a critical role in budget processes, including the preparation, review, and monitoring of budgets.

• Resolve financial inquiries by analyzing and interpreting data.

• Generate financial reports for management to review.

• Evaluate current and previous financial data.

• Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Collaborate with team members to prepare company budgets.

• Develop and maintain financial models and reports.

Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial analyst role, preferably in the food processing industry.

• Proficient in the use of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Systems.

• Solid understanding of budget processes and financial forecasting.

• Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to use data mining techniques effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly present financial information.

• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.

• CPA or CFA certification would be an added advantage.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
