Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the non-profit sector based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and entails the processing of customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. The successful candidate will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and implementing appropriate action.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis
• Actively resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts and implement necessary actions
• Process and code invoices effectively
• Conduct regular check runs to maintain financial stability
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Operate the Sage Intacct software for financial management purposes
• Collaborate with the team to enhance the efficiency of the accounts payable process
• Adhere to the organization's policies and regulations related to accounts payable. Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and tasks
• Experience in performing check runs
• Knowledge and skill in coding invoices
• Familiarity with invoice processing
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Experience with Sage Intacct software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High level of integrity and dependability
• Previous experience in a Non-Profit organization is a plus
