Robert Half Customer Service - Show Room Associate in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description

Are you currently in the retail space and want to pursue an opportunity in an office setting? We are in the healthcare industry, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and we are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will handle customer service duties such as responding to inquiries, maintaining customer records, and processing applications. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers as they enter the showroom, providing personalized service and support.

  • Understand and explain the features, benefits, and proper usage of various medical equipment and supplies.

  • Provide product demonstrations to ensure customers are confident in their selection.

  • Assist customers with placing orders, processing transactions, and arranging product delivery or pickup.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked showroom, ensuring product displays are appealing and up-to-date.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, healthcare providers, and caregivers.

  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product levels.

  • Stay informed about new product offerings, industry trends, and customer preferences.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Answer customer inquiries, both in-person and over the phone, in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.

  • Handle customer complaints or concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate department if necessary.

    Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college education or specialized training in medical equipment is a plus).

  • Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sales, preferably in a medical or healthcare-related field.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex products clearly.

  • Ability to learn and demonstrate the proper use of medical equipment and supplies.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Compassionate and patient-centered mindset, with a genuine desire to help others.

  • Ability to lift or move medical equipment and supplies as needed (some equipment may be heavy).
