Robert Half Cyber Security Engineer in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description
Are you ready to take charge of our cybersecurity initiatives? This individual contributor role is vital in enhancing the cybersecurity operations, cyber investigations, and incident response strategy. You will lead the Security Operations, Cyber Investigations, and Incident Response within the Information Security organization, closely overseeing third-party managed services. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and relationship-building skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, along with a solid technical background and relevant experience.
This is a hybrid position based in Minneapolis and we’re looking to fill it right away! If you have hands-on experience in cybersecurity and a passion for keeping organizations secure, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
Proven experience in cybersecurity program management, with hands-on experience in incident investigation and managing Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP).
Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents to assess severity and determine necessary support measures.
Experience with standard security tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of security operations, incident response, and process improvement methodologies.
Act as the primary point of contact for tier 1 and 2 third-party providers, overseeing their performance and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
