Description
We are offering a role for a Data Engineer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States.
Responsibilities:
• Create and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Set up and maintain Azure Data Lakes
• Develop and execute complex queries on Azure SQL
• Code in PySpark for data processing and analysis
• Utilize Azure Databricks for big data analytics
• Maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
• Leverage Snowflake cloud data platform for data storage and analytics
• Use Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting
• Familiarize with delta lakes and synapse skills as added advantages.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Data Engineer for a minimum of five years
• Demonstrable skills in using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks
• Practical experience with EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse)
• Proficiency in coding with PySpark
• Experience in working with Snowflake data warehousing platform
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and reporting
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
