Robert Half Event Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description

We are in the Healthcare/NHS industry and we are seeking an Administrative Assistant in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves providing key administrative support to our industry sales team and maintaining high standards of customer service. This role also includes sales, marketing, and promotional activities, as well as data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitating clear and effective communication with clients regarding conference information, sales materials, and client communications

• Collaborating with external vendor partners to ensure accurate information

• Assisting in the execution of marketing, promotional, and client retention activities

• Assisting in the sales process and upselling to current and new clients

• Supporting the industry sales team in fulfilling sold items including advertising, physical sponsorship items, exhibit space, and attendee lists at conferences

• Collaborating with staff to collect, review, and maintain Ad files from industry clients for conference publications and sponsorship

• Assisting in maintaining the a2z software database, building online exhibits and sponsorship sales portals, and monitoring site performance

• Assisting in collecting payments, running reports, troubleshooting user interface issues, and fulfilling tasks needed by outside clients

• Assisting with data tracking and analysis for industry sales expense and revenue budgets for conferences

• Providing administrative support, including but not limited to conference call setup, budget reconciliation, and administration onsite at conferences or other external events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an administrative role within the Healthcare/NHS industry

• Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused approach to tasks

• Strong data entry skills, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency and importance

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage administrative processes effectively

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning

• Awareness of and adherence to healthcare industry regulations and standards.
