Description Our client is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. In this Full Charge Bookkeeper position, you will regulate journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also supervise the clerical staff. Accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are self-driven and organized. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area.
What you get to do every single day
Manage Accounts Payable
Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Formulate cash flow projections, as needed
Sort sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Oversee Accounts Receivable
Operate monthly accounting close
Other assignments as requested
Summarize business license and gross receipts
Make all cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation
Get ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Record budget transfers Requirements - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
Practical knowledge of Bank Account Reconciliation
Cash reconciliations experience highly preferred
Solid understanding of Accounting Entries
Demonstrated knowledge of account reconciliation
Background working with Credit Card Reconciliation
Adeptness in journal entries
Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
General familiarity with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Good understanding of customer service
Experience with year end closings
Month end closings experience
Earlier work involving Expense Reconciliation
Strong organization skills
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
5+ years of related experience- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Ability to meet deadlines
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
