Robert Half HR Manager- 15 hours/week in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description We are in search of a part-time HR Manager to join our team in the healthcare industry in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves a range of HR tasks such as processing payroll, managing employee records, and administering benefits.
Responsibilities • Administering payroll procedures in a timely and accurate manner. • Conducting new employee orientations and managing the onboarding process. • Maintaining and updating employee records to ensure accurate information. • Administering employee benefits, collaborating with the benefits broker as needed. • Ensuring compliance with HR regulations and policies. • Counseling and disciplining employees as necessary, maintaining a diverse and respectful workplace. • Using ADP software for payroll processing and other HR functions. • Assisting with HR compliance matters and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information. • Communicating effectively with team members and management, exhibiting strong interpersonal skills. • Demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in all data entry tasks. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources, specifically within the Healthcare industry. • Proficiency in ADP - Payroll is required. • Experience in Onboarding and Benefits Administration is essential. • Knowledge and experience in conducting new-employee orientations. • Experience in providing counseling to employees on various issues. • Must have experience in disciplining employees in accordance with company policies and employment laws. • Experience with Employee Assistance programs is preferred. • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. • detail oriented certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus. • Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required. • Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
