Our well-respected client in Minneapolis is hiring a Senior Associate HR Operations – HRIS Analyst (Workday) to join their team. In this newly created role, the HR Operations Analyst ensures the HR systems meet the needs and requirements of the organization. This position will also develop and provide reporting and data analytics to identify key metrics and trends to resolve business issues. Responsibilities for the Senior Associate HR Operations – HRIS
Optimize Workday utilization; identifies and recommends improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency.
Continuously researches new capability areas within Workday, work with HR leaders to vet against current business gaps and how the gaps can be remediated.
Identifies, recommends, and configures system functions and facilitates day to day maintenance and functionality.
Lead UAT testing for all system changes.
Maintains Workday security, configuration, business processes, workflows, tasks, notifications, system enhancements, and release updates.
Prepares training materials, guides, and documentation; provides user training and hands-on support.
Generate key reports and workforce analytics to assist in making business decisions. (Headcount reporting, forecasting, DDQs, Dashboards for pay and benefits administration)
Initiate actions in Workday regarding employee changes
Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll
Responsible for quarterly filing and annual audits
Coordinate annual open enrollment
Serve as point of contact for vendor relationship management
LOA administration
Requirements
Requirements and skills for the Senior Associate HR Operations – HRIS
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field of study is required
4+ years related work experience, including experience in HR system administration and payroll and benefit administration
Experience in Workday implementations, upgrades and conversions preferred
Experience creating and implementing HR processes in multiple functional areas
Analytical, detail oriented, and understands downstream impact of configuration and business process changes.
Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
Demonstrates sound judgment, and strong analytical and decision-making skills
Adapts to change; manages competing demands and is able to deal positively with frequent change, ambiguity, delays or unexpected events
Proficient in all Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
