Robert Half HR Systems Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description
We are working with a client who is in search of an interim HR Systems Analyst in the software development industry, conveniently located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This contract employment opportunity will focus on supporting their HR Operations/HRIS Team, with an emphasis on compensation, benefits, and leave of absence. The work model offers a remote or hybrid option.
Responsibilities
• Provide technical support for HRIS operations, specifically in Workday, including system configurations, testing, implementing system changes, and troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate actively with the Total Rewards team and internal stakeholders to address system requests and provide consultation on system configurations, standard operating procedures, and system updates.
• Take on the responsibility of data entry for employment changes and other record modifications.
• Conduct data migration and auditing activities within the HRIS system to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Deliver analytical insights by creating comprehensive reports on HR metrics.
• Assist in managing the Jira Service Management Ticketing System, when necessary.
• Have a fundamental understanding of Human Resources principles and best practices.
• Display strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact with personnel at all levels.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Workday, Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and other relevant systems.
• Exhibit a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
• Proven experience in an HR Systems Analyst or similar role for a minimum of 7 years
• Proficiency in auditing and data migration processes
• Knowledge of HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems
• Expertise in application configuration
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
• Demonstrable skills in Compensation & Benefits and Leave of Absence management
• Ability to adopt a consultative approach in dealing with HR matters
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
• Experience with the Workday HR platform is a must
• Basic troubleshooting skills in HR systems
• Proficient in data reporting and analytics
