Description
We are inviting applications for a great Legal Assistant position at a boutique Intellectual Property firm located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. You will be responsible for supporting a busy Patent Prosecution practice (granting patents to companies that have invented new products).
Responsibilities:
• Manage legal documentation ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites for data management and reporting
Set up template for attorney to draft the patent application.
Work with attorneys for setting up a filing package.
Upload to the USPTO for the attorney to then file.
• Maintain and update the management system regularly for efficient workflow
Requirements
Strong attention to detail, tech savvy, good written and verbal communication skills, positive and proactive attitude.
Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree preferred.
