Robert Half Payroll Processor in Minneapolis, Minnesota


The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is looking for a contract Payroll Administrator!

Duties include:

  • Administer payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll activities.

  • Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including enrollment, tracking, and inquiries.

  • Maintain payroll records and employee files in compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Process invoices, reconciling payments, and maintaining organized financial records.

  • Collaborate with finance team members on payroll-related tasks, without direct responsibility for reconciliation.

  • Create and update procedural documents related to payroll and benefits administration.

  • Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll and employee information.

  • Assist in general administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the office.

  • Coordinate with external vendors or agencies as needed for payroll and benefits matters.

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders regarding payroll and benefits inquiries.



  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data.

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures quickly.

  • Basic understanding of payroll processes and principles.

  • Prior experience with payroll administration or related fields is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Adept at handling confidential information with discretion.

  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise procedural documents.
