Description
We are seeing a Safety Consultant/Project Manager who has hands-on experience with safety program implementations. As a Safety Project Consultant, your key task will be to deploy our Safety Celebration Week globally across all our locations. This includes developing content, setting up agendas, defining expectations and overseeing its full implementation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and execute a global safety project – Safety Celebration Week – by developing content, creating agendas, and setting expectations
Host the Safety Committee Workshops and organize Training sessions, ensuring all operations meet OSHA requirements
Review and update the relevant safety manuals and policies in compliance with regulatory standards
Conduct safety audits periodically and ensure a safe working environment in all our locations
Participate in Safety Operations Review, providing expert guidance on prioritization and action items
Work on other safety projects as needed
Requirements
Proven experience as a Safety Consultant or similar role with a background in project management
Solid knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, preferably OSHA standards and requirements
Excellent organizing and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate well across various levels in the organization
Strong leadership and project management skills
Degree in Health and Safety Management or relevant certification is preferred
