Robert Half International Sales Assistant in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description We have a great opportunity for a Sales Assistant position available. The ideal candidate would be a passionate and driven self-starter. This is an excellent opportunity for hard working, driven individuals. If you're interested in a long-term temporary employment opportunity, there is a Sales Assistant position available through OfficeTeam for a company based in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area.

What you get to do every day

  • Handling and coordinating training courses for internal employees

  • Providing customer service in a kind and detail oriented manner

  • Making travel and meeting arrangements

  • Working on and at trade shows and conventions

  • Assisting the sales department in promoting company products and services

  • Completing ancillary Sales Assistant tasks as needed

  • Assisting in coordinating orders to ensure completion of process

  • Composing and proofreading correspondence and other documents

  • Generating sales reports and preparing presentations

  • Supporting sales teams by providing administrative, technical and clerical support Requirements - Foundational knowledge in Administrative Office

  • Experience with customer service

  • Post-Sales Support experience

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365

  • Strong familiarity with Administrative Assistance

  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent social skills, project coordination experience and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as with outside clients and vendors

  • 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience suggested

  • Preferred education is a BA/BS degree in business, communications, or related field

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Program skills required
