Description
Robert Half is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Credit Analyst for an amazing direct hire opportunity at an independent growing commercial bank. The ideal candidate will be focused on conducting comprehensive analysis of financial statements and credit requests, preparing loan write-ups and ensuring adherence to loan risk rating and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Carry out thorough analysis of complex financial statements for both existing and potential clients to evaluate the risk associated with extending credit.
Conduct investigations and gather comprehensive information about clients.
Develop detailed credit write-ups, capturing the client's complex financial situation and assessing repayment capacity and collateral coverage.
Independently manage the underwriting process with minimal supervision, making 'credit risk' recommendations for existing and potential clients.
Collaborate with loan officers and bank staff on client portfolios.
Foster a success-oriented environment through mentorship, timely completion of reports and projects, and adaptability to change.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience also accepted.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Banking credit underwriting.
