Description
Our client, a leading investment management firm in the Twin Cities, is seeking a dynamic Senior Investment Performance Analyst to join our reputable client's team. This exciting opportunity requires a proficient candidate with a deep curiosity about investment concepts, data analysis and market trends.
Your Role:
• Regularly prepare and deliver customized performance reports for clients
• Extensively analyze financial performance of client investment portfolios
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to enhance data visualization
• Assist with preparing presentations and materials for client meetings
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and calculate investment returns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline client reporting
• Ensure accuracy of performance calculations by reconciling custodial bank accounts
• Support business development team by providing analytical support and key information.
Essential Qualifications:
• Profound understanding of investment concepts, market trends and portfolio management operations
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
• Expertise in creating reports using PowerPoint or similar tools
• Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Financial analysis or performance measurement experience
• Proficient with Bloomberg
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook), with advanced skills in Excel
• Familiarity with PowerBI or similar business intelligence platforms
Experience and Education:
• BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the investment industry
• CFA or progress towards CFA designation preferred

Requirements
Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Foundational knowledge in Power BI
Performance analysis experience
Financial Markets experience highly desired
Performance Attribution experience desired
Proven knowledge of Financial Services
Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel
