Description
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This role involves overseeing the AP/AR, Payroll, and Bank Reconciliation processes. You will be working in a supportive team environment, utilizing your skills and experience in accounting software systems, enterprise resource planning, and auditing. Responsibilities:
• Assist in AP/AR, Payroll and Bank Reconciliation processes
• Utilize Banyon software program for grant accounting and utility billing
• Support in the training and development of internal staff
• Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly reports
• Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure they are up-to-date
• Work on a long-term contract basis with potential for further opportunities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Utilize ERP solutions and Great Plains (GPAC) for efficient accounting functions
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure accuracy in billing functions.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions
• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC)
• Expertise in managing Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Auditing practices and procedures
• Experience in managing Billing Functions
• Ability to supervise and lead an accounting team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
