Description We are looking for a meticulous Data Analyst to work with our Healthcare Economics department, located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. As a Data Analyst, you will be expected to generate reports for the Underwriting team, prepare new business Commercial quotes, and contribute to the RFP (Request for Proposal) response process. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity, with the possibility of remote work permitted from certain states.

Responsibilities:

• Generate crucial reports such as GeoAccess, Disruption, Age/Gender reports required as part of the RFP process

• Respond to report requests from Commercial brokers and vendors

• Utilize both industry and home-grown software tools to run requested reports

• Maintain a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze data

• Leverage SQL experience to manipulate and extract data

• Apply knowledge of the health insurance industry to inform reporting and analysis

• Use Salesforce Platform for customer relationship management

• Contribute to budget processes and financial planning

• Deliver training and guidance to team members as needed

Skills:

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in SQL

• Experience with Salesforce Platform

• Knowledge of Healthcare economics

• Understanding of the RFP Process

• Familiarity with Underwriting

• Experience in the Health Insurance Industry

• Proficiency with time management software, About Time Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data manipulation and analysis.

• Experience in providing training to team members and stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of analytics and data interpretation.

• Familiarity with budget processes to assist in financial planning and forecasting.

• Knowledge of the "About Time" software for efficient time management.

• Background in finance to understand financial data and make informed business decisions.

• Ability to manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts.

• SQL skills for querying databases and performing data analysis.

• Experience in underwriting is a plus, but not essential.

• Knowledge of the Request For Proposal (RFP) process to assist in bidding for projects.

• Understanding of the health insurance industry for industry-specific data analysis.

• Experience with the Salesforce platform for managing customer relationships and data.

• Familiarity with healthcare economics to make sense of healthcare data and trends.

• Must be comfortable working with large datasets and making data-driven recommendations.

• A Plus certification is desirable but not mandatory.
