Robert Half Payroll Specialist in Minnetonka, Minnesota

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In this role, you'll be part of a dynamic team working within the telecommunications industry. You will be responsible for handling various tasks related to payroll and accounting systems, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of payroll using various accounting software systems

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services and Ceridian for financial management tasks

• Operate IBM AS/400 and Kronos Timekeeping System for efficient time management

• Administer and maintain 401k - RRSP Administration and About Time systems

• Perform various accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ensure all payroll information and records are accurate and up-to-date

• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies

• Collaborate with other team members to streamline payroll processes

• Stay current with payroll regulations and standards in the industry. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Familiarity with Ceridian, IBM AS/400, and Kronos Timekeeping System is preferred.

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is beneficial.

• Ability to work with 'About Time' software is desirable.

• Understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
