Description
We are looking to add a Senior Compensation Consultant to our team, offering a long-term contract employment opportunity. The role is based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, United States. As a Senior Compensation Consultant, you will contribute significantly to the development of our compensation strategy, administer the compensation policies, and provide expertise to our business leaders.
Responsibilities
• Facilitate the ongoing development of our compensation strategy to attract, retain, and motivate employees
• Administer day-to-day compensation policies and programs
• Advise HR partners and company management on compensation policies and programs
• Conduct analysis of jobs and salaries to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance
• Make recommendations regarding salary grades or market rates for specific jobs
• Participate in annual compensation activities such as the annual increase process, incentive participation letters, and incentive payout process
• Provide guidance and analytical support to business leaders and HRBPs on compensation issues, including market analysis for new positions and promotions
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations for the development or modification of various compensation programs
• Participate in the survey management process including survey selection, participation, results review, and data migration
• Produce workforce analytics, audit compensation data, and identify trends that are affecting the business
• Handle additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected.
• Demonstrable experience in planning and policy development.
• A strong background in analytics and data review.
• Should have experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration.
• Capable of designing and auditing compensation structures.
• Prior experience using 'About Time' software is preferable.
• Must have a good understanding of promotions and law regulations.
• Experience in compensation administration is necessary.
• Familiarity with equity capital, salary structures, and modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of wage regulations and market analysis is expected.
• Experience in data migration and legal compliance is an added advantage.
• Should be able to drive business initiatives.
• Must have experience dealing with Worker's Compensation.
• Experience with payout processes is a plus.
