Robert Half Tax Manager in Minnetonka, Minnesota
Description We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our team located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This role involves processing and reviewing tax returns, maintaining client relationships, and providing consultation on tax-related issues. The position also requires the identification and resolution of complex tax issues while managing client expectations effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Review and prepare tax returns for individuals, businesses, non-profits, trusts, and estates.
• Maintain client relationships and provide exceptional client service.
• Consult with clients on tax-related issues and business strategies.
• Identify and propose solutions for technically complex tax issues.
• Manage client expectations effectively and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Develop new client relationships through networking and referrals.
• Stay updated on regulations and technical matters through training and self-study.
• Utilize skills in 'CCH ProSystem Fx', 'Compliance', 'IRS', 'Annual Income Tax Provision', 'CCH ProSystem fx - Tax Planning'. Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a tax manager role or similar position.
• Expertise in tax compliance and planning at the federal, state, and local level.
• Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH ProSystem fx - Tax Planning software.
• Knowledge of IRS regulations and procedures.
• Experience with Annual Income Tax Provision preparation and review.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to manage a team.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of tax accounting practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with the latest industry trends and tax law changes.
