Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Miramar, Florida


Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll/Human Resource Generalist to join our team. This role is crucial in managing payroll processes and supporting HR functions to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits.

  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.

  • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure proper onboarding procedures.

  • Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Support performance management processes, including performance reviews and development plans.

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

  • Address employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR-related matters.

  • Coordinate training and development programs for employees.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll and HR functions.

  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.

  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and labor laws.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
