Description
Ready to leverage your litigation expertise from the comfort of your home office? We're seeking a talented and detail-oriented Remote Litigation Paralegal!
A dynamic national defense firm is searching for a highly motivated paralegal with a minimum of 1 year of experience in defense litigation. In this 100% remote role, you'll play a vital role in supporting our attorneys with a variety of casework.
What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
Assist with electronic discovery (eDiscovery) processes, including data collection, organization, and production.
Manage case files electronically and maintain meticulous records.
Prepare exhibits and witness lists for trial.
Assist attorneys with trial preparation and attend depositions and hearings as needed (remotely where possible).
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a litigation paralegal with a focus on defense work.
ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate or Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies (or equivalent).
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Proficiency in legal research databases (LexisNexis, Westlaw) and case management software.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong technological aptitude and comfort working in a remote environment.
