Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry. Located in Modesto area the chosen candidate will be tasked with various responsibilities relating to the processing and management of invoices, payments, and expense reports. This role also involves providing leadership to a team of accounts payable representatives and maintaining positive relations with vendors and suppliers. Direct hire role.
Responsibilities:
• Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all invoices are coded correctly and match purchase orders and receipts.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
• Provide guidance and support to a team of accounts payable representatives.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers and address and resolve vendor inquiries and disputes promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports for management.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Must possess skills in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in Check Runs is necessary
• Proficient in Coding Invoices
• Data Entry skills are essential
• Demonstrated ability in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Must have experience with Oracle
• QuickBooks skills are necessary
• SAP knowledge is essential
