Responsibilities
Research and analyze all payments related to railcar capitalized improvements.
Prepare monthly reporting and journal entries for railcar capitalized improvements.
Calculate and update depreciation for capitalized expenses in the lease accounting system.
Support end to end Operating Risk Loss process.
Provide support to accounting and research open items on general ledger account reconciliations.
Assist with operating expense analysis and monthly reporting.
Prepare monthly Key Indicator report from multiple data points across Rail. Lead monthly meeting with Rail President highlighting key metrics.
Maintain Rail Policy and Procedure Sharepoint.
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance AND 2+ years’ experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis
