Accounts Receivable Specialist sought for high volume and challenging yet very rewarding opportunity!

As a full-time AR Specialist, you will play a vital role in their accounting department and have the ability to take on other accounting related tasks as needed. Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities: 1. Prepare, post and distribute on a timely basis customer invoices to the general ledger, and apply cash daily to customer accounts 2. Maintain Accounts Receivable account reconciliations to General Ledger 3. Effectively identify and resolve customer issues preventing timely payment, which may include research involving examining historical data and payment history, collaborating with internal staff, and/or escalating within customer organization 4. Make regular Business to Business customer collections (track and resolve outstanding payment issues and generate related reports) 5. Maintain professional working relationships with customer A/P departments 6. Maintain orderly and complete detailed documentation on all accounts and collection records 7. Research inventory discrepancies, reconcile cycle counts and maintain related recordkeeping 8. Assist with other duties as assigned
