Network Administrator in Moncks Corner, South Carolina

You will support the business by developing, administering and maintaining the network infrastructure, making sure that the enterprise systems and related components are secure, have integrity, and are highly available. You will work with software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems that change frequently. Your dedication to ongoing education is critical to staying current and fully informed. This Network Administrator is a long-term contract / temporary to hire role in the Moncks Corner, South Carolina, area.

Responsibilities

  • Administering the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services according to company policies and procedures

  • Providing control measures for LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam

  • Coordinating and executing upgrades to network software and hardware

  • Analyzing and fixing local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network issues Requirements - Support Tickets experience preferred

  • Practical knowledge of Network Devices

  • Ticketing System experience

  • Proven knowledge of LAN (local area networks)

  • Wide ranging experience with Network Hardware

  • General familiarity with Network Connectivity

  • Quality experience with Network Equipment

  • Expertise in Cisco Networking

  • Basic Network Troubleshooting experience

  • Well-founded grasp of Network Cabling

  • Earlier work involving Network Issues

  • Comptia Network+ experience desired

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in production environments and willingness to be on-call

  • Proficiency with network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations

  • Skilled in troubleshooting, analytics and diagnostics
