Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a dynamic company. As the Accounting Assistant you will provide daily support to the accounting and finance departments with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant include collecting payments, invoicing customers, drafting financial documents, and reconciling bank records. What you get to do every day
Assist with administrative duties as necessary
Design the bookkeeping processes of the company
Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary
Own daily accounting duties such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
Reconcile financial books by working with incoming and outgoing funds
Assist Accounting team with creating and editing financial documents
Analyze financial budgets and track expenses Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
1+ years of experience working in accounting
Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as high attention to detail
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet and reporting applications
Bookkeeping experience preferred
