Description We are offering a role in the financial services industry, located in Monroe, Louisiana, for a meticulous Credit Clerk to support our Loan Processing unit. This role centers around managing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate credit records, with a focus on compliance with state laws, federal regulations, and internal policies.

Responsibilities:

• Review loan applications to ensure compliance with state laws, federal regulations, and internal policies and procedures.

• Research county recorder verbiage on websites and compare to internal guidelines to determine processing acumen.

• Handle data entry tasks, including keying data and capturing results of documents.

• Prepare and request recording expense checks and create release documents.

• Research and locate satisfaction documents for print retrieval from image repository.

• Examine mortgage documents to identify multiple properties and compare to vendor data.

• Inspect property information to determine mailing data for documents to be sent to customers.

• Identify and manage stock and lease documents in files.

• Handle physical files and scanning documents.

• Oversee the management of customer loan administration and origination.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements • Proficiency in data entry

• Ability to handle and organize documentation

• Understanding of procedures and policy related to loan processing

• Compliance with federal regulation and state laws

• Experience in check processing

• Familiarity with property-related documents such as lease documents and mortgage documents

• Ability to manage websites related to loan administration

• Experience in scanning documents and maintaining physical files

• Knowledge of loan origination and loan administration

• Skills in research analysis

• Experience in managing expense accounts

• Understanding of collateral management

• Ability to capture and key in important details

• Familiarity with consumer loans

• Understanding of the workings of a respository

• Adherence to federal regulation and state laws regarding loans.
